About the Role
We are recruiting a Senior Design Manager for a reputable construction building contractor based in Drumcondra, Dublin. This key role entails overseeing the technical management of building projects, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary design teams and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple disciplinary design teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Coordinate with external third parties and ensure open, clear communication channels.
- Monitor project progress while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety compliance, programme management, and commercial performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in building construction contracting environments.
- Degree qualification in engineering, construction management, or a closely related field.
- Experience with commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
- Membership in a relevant professional body such as Engineers Ireland is preferred.
