Overview
The Insights product by Guidepoint services institutional investment and corporate clients with teleconferences, surveys, and in-person events. This offering includes a transcript library portal housing teleconferences across diverse industries and topics, providing clients with critical insights to aid their investment decisions. All content involves experts from Guidepoint’s proprietary global network, hosted by former investment professionals from private equity, hedge funds, equity research, and industry backgrounds.
This role necessitates working hours adjusted according to US time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of VC-backed and publicly listed companies across multiple sectors in the US and EMEA regions.
- Keep track of vital industry trends, significant news, investor presentations, and research in targeted markets.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of company and industry-specific topics, generating original ideas for discussions such as business updates, channel checks, trending topics, and relevant investment themes.
- Develop and moderate teleconferences featuring experts from Guidepoint’s network to produce actionable insights for clients.
- Assess teleconference transcripts for quality and summarize the primary discussion points.
- Ensure adherence to Guidepoint’s compliance policies and procedures.
- Take ownership of teleconferences by vetting expert relevance and maintaining accurate expert profiles.
- Collaborate with research teams to identify and recruit new industry experts, managing and nurturing relationships with both experts and clients.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Bring at least 6 years of experience in financial services or research firms, focusing on consumer, fintech, technology, or healthcare sectors; familiarity with global markets is advantageous.
- Understand institutional buy-side and sell-side research and investment workflows.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with strong time management and organizational capabilities.
- Have an outgoing demeanor with excellent communication skills across all professional levels.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning.
- Show ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with willingness to mentor junior team members.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional regional language skills related to coverage markets are a plus.
