Overview
The Insights product at Guidepoint is a fresh service aimed at institutional investors and corporate clients, providing teleconferences, surveys, and live events. These teleconferences, archived in a transcript library portal, span a broad array of sectors, allowing clients to make well-informed decisions. The content is delivered by experts from Guidepoint's exclusive global network and is developed and hosted by former investment professionals such as private equity and hedge fund experts, sell-side research analysts, and other industry specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Insights team to organize teleconferences covering diverse sectors like technology, media, telecommunications, consumer goods, industrials, materials, energy, healthcare, and financials.
- Maintain proactive surveillance of upcoming call topics to identify or select suitable experts 1 to 2 weeks prior to scheduled events.
- Use telephonic communication, professional networking platforms, and outreach methods to onboard new Advisors into Guidepoint's network, engaging potential experts to clarify queries or validate their credentials.
- Develop and apply screening protocols to assess expert knowledge of the subject matter, ensuring sufficient expertise through analysis of their responses.
- Coordinate final scheduling and logistical arrangements directly with the expert participants.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher with a strong academic background is required.
- Possess 1 to 2 years of experience in areas such as pre-sales, sales, client servicing, customer support, BPO, or lead generation.
- Experience with cold calling, cold emailing, and lead generation activities is highly valued.
- Availability to work US shift hours, specifically from 5 PM to 2 AM IST.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a readiness to take initiative and exceed expectations.
- Able to provide exceptional service to clients under tight deadlines.
- Capable of working efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A strong willingness to learn about the business and thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
