Role Overview

We seek a vigilant and professional Security Officer to safeguard our premises, personnel, visitors, and assets in Lusail, Qatar. The ideal candidate must combine sharp observational skills with prompt, decisive action to prevent security breaches and manage incidents effectively. Being organized, detail-focused, calm under pressure, and promoting a cooperative, inclusive work environment is vital.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patrols of assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access, ensuring the security of entry points including doors, windows, and gates.
• Supervise and authorize the ingress and egress of employees, guests, and staff to prevent theft and uphold security standards.
• React swiftly to alarms or disturbances, investigating situations professionally and judiciously.
• Document incidents precisely and maintain detailed daily activity records.
• Operate and oversee security cameras and related surveillance systems attentively.
• Perform access control and security checks for individuals and vehicles.
• Provide escort or transportation services as needed, including personal protection when required.
• Work in coordination with local law enforcement and security officials during relevant situations.
• Follow all organizational policies regarding health, safety, and environmental protocols.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing employee and visitor questions cordially and professionally.
• Keep updated with security practices, industry standards, and specific regulatory requirements within Qatar.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Possession of a valid security guard license authorized in Qatar.
• At least 2-3 years of professional security experience.
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Good physical condition to effectively carry out security assignments.
• Proficiency in surveillance technology and monitoring methods.
• In-depth knowledge of emergency procedures and response protocols.
• Strong communication, report writing, and basic computer literacy.
• Demonstrated ability in conflict management and de-escalation techniques.
• Comprehensive understanding of Qatar’s local security laws and protocols.
• Ability to maintain composure and make rational decisions under stressful conditions.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills preferred.
• Capability to thrive in a diverse, multicultural workplace.
• Eligibility to work in Qatar with valid permits or visas.
• Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic security environment.
