About the Role
This position as a Relationship Associate in our Agri team involves supporting Relationship Managers in delivering efficient and effective banking services. You will contribute through financial analysis to offer tailored customer solutions, focusing specifically on designated customers within the Agribusiness sector.
This role provides the opportunity to enhance your credit and relationship management skills. Within the first 12 months, you may receive delegated credit approval responsibilities and potentially manage a portfolio of three or more accounts under senior management’s discretion.
This vacancy is ideal for individuals demonstrating emerging talent and who aspire to full Relationship Manager roles.
Work Location: Dunedin, Otago
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Engage attentively with customers to understand their business needs and ensure they receive personalized service that makes them feel valued.
- Analyze customer portfolios to grasp their scale, goals, challenges, and value propositions.
- Enhance ANZ’s presence by showcasing comprehensive knowledge of client industries and relevant market trends.
- Manage a select group of client accounts if assigned by senior management.
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers, Senior Managers, and product teams to create customized financial solutions and efficiently resolve customer queries.
- Drive high levels of customer satisfaction by managing interactions with care and delivering insightful, meaningful advice.
- Use customer feedback constructively to improve service quality and support client retention.
- Commit to continuous personal development while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture strong relationships in roles focused on customer service delivery.
- Understanding of security structuring processes within financial contexts.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret financial data and market trends effectively.
- Experience in banking or financial services sectors is strongly preferred.
- Background in finance or lending roles will be advantageous.
