About the Role
This position involves comprehensive program management responsibilities overseeing one or multiple semiconductor chip development initiatives. The role requires coordination among IC design, MEMS engineering, packaging and testing teams, foundry/fabrication partners, and customer-facing divisions to ensure timely progress and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead chip development projects throughout all phases including definition, tape-out, qualification, and scaling to mass production.
- Create and maintain detailed program timelines, milestones, and critical path monitoring across design, fabrication, and testing workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in IC design, MEMS and product engineering, packaging, testing, and quality assurance located globally.
- Oversee partnerships with foundries and external providers, managing schedules and deliverables effectively.
- Spot program risks, technical hurdles, or timing delays, escalating and driving solutions promptly.
- Serve as the main coordinator for customer qualification milestones, working closely with technical experts and business stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and decisions to senior leadership and business units.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ experience managing projects or programs in semiconductor, integrated circuit, or chip development settings.
- In-depth knowledge of the chip development lifecycle including design, tape-out, fabrication, packaging, testing, and mass production phases.
- Strong skills in coordinating multiple stakeholders from engineering and business to achieve program goals.
- Excellent organizational and communication capabilities and effective stakeholder management expertise.
Preferred Skills
- Previous exposure to managing MEMS- or sensor-related chip development programs.
- Experience collaborating with external foundry or fab partners.
- Familiarity with customer qualification procedures for leading global OEM clients.
- Possession of PMP or similar project management certification is advantageous.
