Team Overview

The Global Product Strategy & Operations team at Stripe is a compact, highly impactful group driving the global product organization. This team collaborates extensively across Stripe's internal departments and is responsible for setting long-term strategy, facilitating scalable operating models, and spearheading important new initiatives that significantly influence Stripe's growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional strategic projects and coordinate with various teams to execute necessary changes effectively.
• Collaborate directly with senior leaders and different teams to accelerate scaling efforts and launch innovative programs.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis and research to guide overarching global product strategies, including understanding local payment methods.
• Shape the product roadmap specifically for the APAC region by gathering competitive intelligence, user feedback, and analyzing relevant data.
• Provide strategic advice to Product, Engineering, Go-To-Market, and other leadership teams on optimal resource allocation to maximize long-term value.
• Work alongside Finance to manage planning activities such as investment decisions, strategic updates, operational planning, and Objective & Key Results (OKRs) processes.
• Monitor and report on the financial health of Stripe's APAC operations, identifying key trends and creating action plans to enhance performance.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses over seven years of experience in strategy, business operations, or analytical roles within technology companies or management consulting backgrounds.
• Skilled at structuring ambiguous and complex problems and providing concise, actionable solutions.
• Capable of understanding technical product intricacies and communicating their benefits to non-technical audiences.
• Experienced in managing complex cross-functional projects involving diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management demonstrated through influencing senior cross-functional leaders and driving alignment.
• History of working directly with Product and Engineering teams.
• Adept at driving results in ambiguous settings without formal authority.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across multiple teams and end-users.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate uncertainties.
• Fluent in Mandarin language.

Work Environment Expectations

Employees assigned to offices are expected to spend at least 50% of their work time onsite or engaging with users, although this may vary by team and location. Some roles may require a higher office presence depending on operational needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position in Singapore spans SGD 148,000 to SGD 222,000 annually, subject to adjustment based on location and candidate experience. Compensation packages may include equity, bonuses or commissions, retirement benefits, health coverage, and wellness allowances.
