About the Role
Join us in Cork, Ireland as a Product Operations Principal Engineer within the New Product Introduction team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute technically and strategically towards launching next-generation AI Rack solutions, delivering operational excellence and innovation with broad cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Steer the strategy and execution of new product introductions for AI Rack products, overseeing the lifecycle from concept to sustainable production readiness, qualifications, and rollout plans.
- Manage deployment processes for sophisticated AI Rack systems, including components like compute, networking, storage, and liquid cooling technologies, ensuring scalability and alignment with future AI solution roadmaps.
- Provide expert advice on advanced manufacturing tech, including automation, digitalization, and AI-powered operational enhancements while establishing technical standards and best practices.
- Engage in cross-functional leadership and maintain executive-level communications regarding program progress, risks, and countermeasures to facilitate decision-making and coordinated execution globally.
- Lead adoption of AI-driven and data-based decision frameworks to elevate the quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement of product introduction and customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline (Manufacturing, Electrical, Computer Engineering etc.).
- Minimum of 12 years’ professional experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, product intro, or technology deployment environments.
- Proven leadership in managing complex infrastructure or enterprise technology product deployments, including servers, data centers, and AI technology, spanning from initial concept to production.
- Strong ability to lead and influence cross-functional and global teams, ensuring execution excellence.
- Experience with manufacturing readiness assessments, industrialization processes, problem solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in areas such as AI infrastructure, high-performance computing (HPC), liquid cooling systems, digital manufacturing, automation, Industry 4.0, or AI-driven operational transformation initiatives.
