About the Role
Join a dynamic, client-focused team dedicated to delivering exceptional physiotherapy services at APM New Zealand. We seek a motivated physiotherapist to contribute expertise and passion for patient care in varied clinical environments within our East Tamaki office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored physiotherapy interventions in home, workplace, and community settings.
- Support client independence and function through individualized rehabilitation programs.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize client outcomes.
- Perform assessments and develop progressive rehabilitation strategies considering movement, strength, and mobility.
- Engage in vocational rehabilitation including workplace assessments, gradual return-to-work planning, and task analysis.
- Deliver concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injury therapies, including assessments of cervical spine and vestibular and oculomotor systems.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum two years’ relevant experience in vocational and community rehabilitation settings.
- Expertise in musculoskeletal, neurological, or vestibular rehabilitation preferred.
- Proficient in delivering home, gym-based, and community functional rehabilitation programs.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and adaptability to diverse client needs.
- Ability to effectively coordinate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Clear and professional communication capabilities with clients, families, and stakeholders.
