Overview

Join a passionate and client-focused team committed to delivering exceptional rehabilitation services to the Northland community. We seek a skilled physiotherapist who thrives in a dynamic setting and possesses strong clinical reasoning to make a real impact across varied client needs and environments.

Role Details

Working onsite primarily in Whangārei, you will report to your Team Leader within a supportive and collaborative team culture. Your contributions will enhance and expand services throughout the wider Northland region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide rehabilitation services and ongoing support to individuals within their community settings.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to help clients reach their rehabilitation objectives.
  • Navigate community service pathways with proficiency.
  • Deliver physiotherapy care specializing in musculoskeletal, neurological, or vestibular rehabilitation.
  • Conduct gym-based, home-based, and functional rehabilitation programs tailored to client needs.
  • Assess and progress clients’ movement patterns, strength, and mobility.
  • Apply clinical expertise across varied environments including homes, workplaces, and other community settings.
  • Maintain high standards aligned with a focus on outstanding outcomes and care excellence.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated passion for making a meaningful difference in client care.
  • Relevant academic qualifications, current professional registration, and a valid practicing certificate.
  • Strong clinical reasoning with adaptability to diverse client requirements.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.
  • Experience delivering client-centered rehabilitation within community and vocational rehabilitation settings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with clients, families, and stakeholders.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in community and vocational rehabilitation services.
