About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct workplace assessments, develop graduated return-to-work plans, and perform detailed task analyses within vocational rehabilitation (SAW & BTW).
- Possess a thorough understanding of vocational service pathways to effectively support clients’ work-related rehabilitation.
- Provide rehabilitative care and assistance to individuals in community settings, partnering within a multi-disciplinary team to meet clients’ functional goals.
- Demonstrate familiarity with community service pathways to facilitate holistic client support.
- Utilize clinical reasoning and expertise across diverse situations, working in homes, workplaces, and community environments with varying client needs.
- Deliver care aligned with the organization's strong commitment to excellence and positive outcomes.
- Collaborate within a high-performing team that values innovation, learning, and mutual support.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold relevant physiotherapy qualifications, professional registration, and a valid practicing certificate.
- At least two years of experience working specifically in vocational and community rehabilitation services.
- Exhibit advanced clinical reasoning skills and the ability to adapt within diverse client care scenarios.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills with clients, their families (whanau), and other stakeholders.
- Show commitment to ongoing professional growth and continuous learning.
- Proven success in providing client-centered rehabilitation within community settings.
