Partner Solutions Engineer

Role Overview

The Regional Partner PTM is tasked with enhancing the technical capabilities of partners to effectively position, sell, and implement Splunk + Cisco solutions. Collaboration is key, working closely with Partner Sales and Development Managers to accelerate partner success and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop partner-specific solutions, capabilities, and practice areas aligned to prioritized Splunk + Cisco use cases.
• Assess partners’ market positioning and customer segments to target high-value use cases.
• Co-create repeatable, scalable solutions addressing customer challenges in security, observability, and platform domains.
• Support partners in establishing monetizable, billable services and practices consistent with Splunk + Cisco strategies.
• Guide partners through solution industrialization and ensure architectural alignment.
• Lead competency development and deliver technical enablement across multiple Splunk domains to facilitate partner tier upgrades.
• Create and maintain a regional partner technical community to encourage knowledge sharing and promote best practices.
• Drive technical discovery and acceleration of strategic opportunities alongside partners and internal teams.
• Maintain and update comprehensive Partner Intelligence documents detailing capability maturity, solution evolution, business impact, and progressive development plans jointly owned with PDM and PSM.
• Act as the technical liaison between internal Cisco teams and partner stakeholders, ensuring consistent messaging and planning.

• Demonstrated growth in partner-generated revenues and attached service sales through developed solutions.
• Expansion in adoption and scaling of partner-built offerings aligned with Splunk + Cisco architectures.
• Established robust partner technical communities fostering solution sharing and independence.
• Improved deal velocity and higher technical qualification rates.
• High-quality reporting and detailed documentation supporting joint planning and partner performance evaluation.

• Typical workweek consists of 48 hours.
