About the Role

Join Parcelforce Worldwide as a Collection & Delivery Driver based in Bodmin, Cornwall. This permanent position involves working 38 hours weekly, typically Monday and Wednesday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with options for paid overtime during weekdays and weekends. You will be integral to ensuring parcels are delivered efficiently and safely, contributing to excellent customer experiences.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary of 25201 per year ( 12.71 per hour)
• Increased salary after six months to 27561 per year ( 13.94 per hour)

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels to organize deliveries efficiently
• Planning and executing optimized delivery routes
• Conducting essential safety checks on delivery vehicles
• Delivering and collecting parcels to/from homes and businesses reliably
• Delivering a friendly, dependable service ensuring customer satisfaction

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a full UK manual driving license (Category B, under 3.5 tonnes) with registration at current address and not exceeding 6 penalty points
• Capable of physically lifting and carrying parcels weighing up to 30 kilograms
• Personality traits such as friendliness, dependability, and strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
• Seeking a stable long-term career with a growing company
