Job Overview
This permanent position as a Collection & Delivery Driver is based in Hereford at Parcelforce Worldwide's Rotherwas Industrial Estate location. The role requires working 38 hours per week with potential overtime and includes flexible shift patterns. You will be an essential part of the team delivering parcels promptly and with care, supporting both residential and business customers.
Work Hours & Schedule
- 38 hours weekly with paid overtime available on weekdays and weekends.
- Two shift patterns offered: Option 1 - Monday and Wednesday to Friday 08:00-17:00; Option 2 - Monday to Friday 08:00-15:36.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting annual salary of £25,201 (£12.71/hour).
- After 6 months, salary increases to £27,561 annually (£13.94/hour).
- Earning potential up to £30,000 per year including overtime.
- Additional allowances: Monthly non-pensionable pay addition (£903.84/year) and weekly driving allowance (£26.73).

Key Responsibilities
- Sort parcels efficiently and plan delivery routes for timely service.
- Conduct necessary vehicle safety inspections before outings.
- Collect and distribute parcels to both homes and commercial establishments.
- Provide friendly, reliable service ensuring customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a current full manual UK driving licence (Category B up to 3.5 tons) registered to the applicant's address with no more than six penalty points.
- Physically able to lift parcels weighing up to 30 kg.
- Possesses a friendly and dependable nature with a focus on customer service.
- Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team.
- Interested in a long-term, stable position within a growing company.
