Over-the-Counter Associate

Position Summary

The Over-the-Counter Associate plays a key role in customer assistance and ensuring the OTC department runs smoothly. They maintain assigned areas according to company standards, support the OTC or Pharmacy Manager by completing various delegated tasks, and uphold exceptional customer service aligned with Walmart's core values.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with the Privacy Act.
• Assist in increasing department sales and profitability under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Manage stock rotation and regularly inspect products for expiration dates.
• Perform zoning duties to keep the department orderly and well-presented.
• Execute proper procedures for ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, and labeling tasks.
• Ensure the workstation remains free of obstructions, debris, and liquids.
• Maintain flawless pricing accuracy utilizing the Scanning Credibility Program.
• Calibrate equipment used in prescription preparation as required.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $17.75.
