Position Overview
The Maintenance Team Associate plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for both customers and coworkers by participating in a structured cleanliness program and managing related expenses effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Stocking 3 Coach and collaborate with team members to implement thorough cleaning procedures.
- Adhere strictly to Food Safety standards and comply with cold chain management protocols.
- Carry out prompt cleaning activities across all Fresh Departments, including refrigeration units and product display areas.
- Assist in inspecting maintenance and cleaning equipment to confirm operational status and ensure availability of necessary supplies.
- Foster a safe workplace by completing mandatory in-store certification training and following all company guidelines and safety policies.
- Perform floor maintenance tasks such as mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and carpet care, covering all non-sales floor sections as needed.
Compensation
The position starts at a minimum wage of CAD 18.05 per hour.
