The FieldCore Gas Power service team installs, services, and upgrades power generation equipment, supporting operators worldwide to deliver reliable and affordable energy.
Job Summary
The Region Operations Director I oversees driving strategic growth and operational excellence in the MEA region. This role ensures customer value delivery via business metrics, contract portfolio optimization, operational leadership, and strategic alignment. The position acts as the main contact for aero operations.
Responsibilities
- Establish standardized operational workflows and compliance through consistent operating rhythms across various segments, projects, and clients.
- Collaborate with Service Directors and Managers to analyze and promptly resolve field service quality and issues.
- Develop synchronized working rhythms with FieldCore functions, service lines, field operations, and resource operations teams.
- Utilize lean methodologies and quality tools to promote process excellence.
- Ensure operational rigor and compliance across key Fulfillment 5 metrics: Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), Quality, Cycle time, Cost, and Productivity.
- Oversee EHS performance before and after outages in coordination with Site EHS Specialists.
- Create and execute outage best practice strategies.
- Support Revenue Growth Management (RGM) as needed by serving as an extended resource or delegate.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of Operations Managers.
- Be prepared for travel and able to work during holidays, weekends, or overtime to meet field assignment demands.
- Perform additional responsibilities aligned with advancing FieldCore’s vision and core values.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Operations, Engineering, Management, or related disciplines from an accredited institution.
- Over 11 years of combined experience in business administration, operations, field services, engineering, or related areas.
- At least 6 years in leadership roles.
- Proficiency in English is required.
Preferred Attributes
- Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Practical field engineering background with solid mechanical and technical expertise, especially in power generation outage maintenance.
- Knowledgeable about power generation products, services, and installations.
- Demonstrated dedication to process enhancement and continuous improvement.
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling interaction across all employee levels.
- Capability to operate efficiently in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
- Experience in contractual services.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication combined with leadership effectiveness.
