Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Material Services Worker capable of operating independently with minimal oversight, to deliver excellent support services to our clients and facility. This role includes responsibilities such as mail collection and delivery, shipping and receiving duties, as well as warehousing and logistical operations, all adhering to the parameters set by the Facility Maintenance Services Agreement (FMSA).
Key Responsibilities
The worker will be responsible for material handling tasks including heavy package lifting, and will be required to maintain strong organization and multitasking abilities within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic math and language skills equivalent to completion of secondary school.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to foster effective relationships with clients, contractors, and internal staff.
- Self-motivated with the ability to perform tasks independently.
- Capability to manage and prioritize various concurrent demands efficiently.
- Must successfully pass a security clearance process.
