This role is for a Client in the Banking sector based in Gurgaon, India.
Work Schedule and Location
- Workplace: Gurgaon office with three days per week onsite requirement
- Working hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Primary Responsibilities and Skills
- Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications with a focus on Core Java, OOP concepts, and data structures
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC frameworks
- Build RESTful microservices and ensure efficient system design
- Apply asynchronous communication tools such as Apache Kafka or AWS SQS
- Collaborate on concurrency and distributed systems implementations
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise Java development, totaling 8+ years of professional experience
- Expertise in Java 8+ features, design patterns, collections, concurrency, and basic multithreading
- Good understanding of SQL databases and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in system design and event-driven architectures
Preferred Skills
- Advanced knowledge of multithreading and asynchronous messaging systems
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and services
- Experience with caching solutions such as Redis and JWT/Auth frameworks
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and supporting production applications including log monitoring and automation
Additional Advantages
- Knowledge of enterprise servers like Tomcat and JBoss
- Background in the banking domain
- Practical experience with AWS cloud platform
- Experience with AI developer tools such as Cursor
- Participation in coding platforms or repositories like LeetCode and GitHub
