Laundry Attendant

About the Role

This full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves operating and managing laundry machinery including washing, dry cleaning, and drying equipment. Responsibilities include replenishing cleaning agents, maintaining cleanliness of filters, and handling stained or damaged items by deciding appropriate treatments such as repair or disposal. Attention is required to ensure cleanliness standards of laundered items before placing them in clean laundry carts, along with setting appropriate drying times and temperatures based on fabric types.

The role demands regular physical activity such as lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods during shifts, navigating confined or elevated spaces, and handling various cleaning equipment safely. Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures is mandatory, coupled with maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information. Team collaboration, respect among colleagues, and contributing to shared organizational goals are fundamental.

Additional Job Duties

• Consistently clean filters after each load in dryers and machines.
• Fold clean items manually or by machine following specified sizes.
• Update and maintain records of cleaned items.
• Inspect tools, machines, and equipment visually for defects or abnormalities.
• Comply with quality assurance standards and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Report maintenance issues, workplace hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• No formal secondary education diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior work or supervisory experience necessary.
• No certifications or licenses required.
