About the Role
HCL Technologies Limited, a leading global IT consulting company headquartered in Noida, is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their team in Madurai. This position involves designing and developing scalable web applications leveraging Java technologies, Spring Boot, and microservices. The role requires strong collaboration across teams to deliver efficient and user-friendly software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web applications employing Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs, including interfacing with external third-party services.
- Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React JS.
- Work cooperatively with various teams to collect and interpret business requirements.
- Produce clean, maintainable code adhering to established standards and best programming practices.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications to ensure reliability.
- Engage in code reviews and support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
- Manage CI/CD workflows and deployment processes.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Proficient knowledge of Java versions 8, 11, and 17, including core Java concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security frameworks.
- In-depth understanding of microservices design, API gateways, and service discovery mechanisms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and consume RESTful APIs.
- Strong front-end skills including React JS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Experience working with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and Agile development processes.
- Knowledge of containerization with Docker, orchestration using Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is beneficial.
