About the Role
Join Raytheon Australia as an Inventory Officer, contributing to supply support services for the Navy’s Surface Fleet under the Minor Vessel Capability Lifecycle Manager (MV CLCM) program. This role supports inventory development and management throughout vessel lifecycles to ensure ship availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with material management planning and scheduling by analyzing and optimizing inventory levels and locations for maintenance of various ship classes.
- Fulfill stock level maintenance and fleet management requirements for internal and external customers.
- Ensure compliance with export control regulations across all material support activities.
- Operate logistics databases and technology systems integral to supporting program needs.
- Collaborate with the SPO Sourcing Team to efficiently procure and repair inventory, maintaining required stock.
- Support auditing and quality assurance processes within the supply chain to uphold policy compliance.
- Role based at multiple possible locations including Perth, Darwin, or Cairns.
Required Skills and Experience
- Certificate IV in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Distribution or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of experience with inventory management operations, preferably within a Defence context.
- Proficient in computer systems related to inventory management such as SAP, Maximo, EAGLE, MILIS, alongside Microsoft Office and Windows OS.
- Eligible and able to obtain and maintain NV-1 Security Clearance as per Australian Government Security Vetting Agency guidelines.
