Overview

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our Washington DC office, specializing in general commercial construction and sizable industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million, encompassing both new builds and renovation efforts. This role offers an excellent chance to grow professionally and take on leadership responsibilities within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates across multiple construction divisions.
• Collaborate closely with the pre-construction team to provide guidance and ensure comprehensive scope coverage.
• Engage in negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers, review agreement terms and markup details.
• Demonstrate initiative and motivation as a self-driven team member.
• Work effectively within a team environment to support project goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience estimating large commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Proficient knowledge of estimating processes for multi-division projects.
• Strong negotiation skills with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate within cross-functional teams.
