Role Overview

The position of Entry-Level Quantitative Researcher entails performing in-depth quantitative research aimed at developing predictive trading models. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training in systematic trading methodologies from concept formulation to practical application and are expected to evolve into key contributors within a collaborative research environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent quantitative research to identify alpha signals.
• Review, interpret, and incorporate findings from recent academic studies.
• Handle the entire research cycle: ideation, data evaluation, hypothesis testing, alpha signal identification, creation of trading strategies, backtesting, and portfolio assessment.
• Develop and maintain analytical tools to enhance the collective research framework.

Requirements

• Degree (B.S., M.S., or PhD) in quantitative disciplines such as finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, data science, or computer science.
• Proficiency in Python programming or an equivalent language and familiarity with SQL.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical capabilities.
• Self-driven with accountability for personal work.

• No prior financial services experience required.
