Job description

Position Overview

This role involves coordinating maintenance activities by communicating efficiently with different departments to handle maintenance requests, resolve issues, and control room availability for repairs. The coordinator also plans and manages scheduling during significant system shutdowns or major repair initiatives.

Core Duties

  • Coordinate with multiple departments using telecommunications to respond quickly to maintenance needs and place rooms out of service when required.
  • Plan and schedule coordination in the event of major system outages or extensive repairs and upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate purchase order logs and ensure filing is completed after payment confirmation, verifying orders against packing slips.
  • Follow all safety, security, and company policies rigorously, reporting hazards, accidents, or malfunctions promptly.
  • Complete required safety trainings and certifications and handle flammable materials responsibly.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, confidentiality of company information, and safeguard company property.
  • Provide courteous and helpful guest interaction, anticipating their needs, assisting guests with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate professionally with clear speech, accurately prepare and review documentation, and handle incoming calls with proper etiquette.
  • Develop constructive working relationships with coworkers and respond empathetically to their concerns.
  • Uphold quality standards and inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for proper condition.
  • Perform physical tasks involving lifting and moving objects up to 10 lbs without aid and reading small print formats.
  • Employ computer systems and point of sale tools for entering and locating work-related information.
  • Execute other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related role.
  • Supervisory Experience: None required.
  • Licenses/Certifications: None required.
