Recreation Animator

Role Overview

As a Recreation Animator, you will serve as the primary contact for all recreational activities available at the property. Your role involves informing guests about diverse recreational options, including pools, beach amenities, the entertainment zone, game room, fitness center, and children's activity center. You will actively encourage guest participation, manage registrations, and schedule activities while fostering a lively, enjoyable atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive information about recreation facilities and promote adherence to their rules to guarantee guests' safety and comfort.
• Monitor recreational areas, responding suitably to emergencies following established local procedures.
• Manage point of sale transactions for equipment rentals and activity fees as required.
• Support private events held within recreational spaces by assisting with group activities and event management.
• Identify any safety concerns that may prevent guests from safely engaging in activities and promptly notify supervisors.
• Offer first aid assistance to injured guests until professional medical help arrives.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of equipment and recreational spaces.
• Report accidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions to management; complete mandatory safety courses and certifications.
• Deliver excellent guest services by welcoming visitors warmly, anticipating needs, aiding guests with disabilities, and communicating professionally.
• Operate telephones and computer systems with proper etiquette and accuracy to process information and payments.
• Perform physical duties such as standing, walking, lifting (up to specified weights), bending, and navigating varied terrains and confined spaces safely.
• Execute any additional reasonable tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Certifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• No prior work or supervisory experience required.
• Mandatory CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Certification or training related to recreation equipment as mandated by relevant local or state authorities.
