About the Role

Our client, a leading service company in the Greater Heilbronn Region known for innovative technologies and clear strategic focus, is seeking an experienced Controller. This key role operates as a staff function reporting directly to the CFO, contributing actively to the sustainable transformation of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee annual budget planning along with OPEX and CAPEX forecasting.
• Analyze and advance overhead cost structures including managing cost centers, cost units, and internal allocation keys.
• Monitor budget variances, perform thorough variance analyses, and derive concrete actions and strategic optimization opportunities.
• Develop and enhance the service catalog including pricing and cost allocations, establishing and maintaining a transparent calculation logic such as TCO and ROI.
• Conduct profitability analyses and benchmarking studies.
• Create and maintain KPI dashboards for performance and efficiency control, including regular reports for executive board and departments.
• Participate in the advancement of controlling processes, optimizing reporting systems, and supporting standardization of tools and data sources within controlling.

Candidate Profile

• Completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in controlling, preferably within a service company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
• Proficient with BI tools, SAP S/4HANA, and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking, organized approach, and high affinity for numbers.
• Effective communication abilities and a cooperative team player.
