Job description
Role Overview
Join a vital network supporting communities throughout Europe and beyond as a Class 1 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driver. This role involves daytime driving, ensuring timely and safe delivery of chilled and ambient goods between depots and customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate HGVs to transport goods between depots and customers.
- Deliver chilled and ambient products securely and punctually.
- Accurately complete all delivery documentation.
- Properly secure cargo and perform basic checks on vehicle safety.
- Comply with road transport laws, including driver hours and working time directives (WTD).
- Assist with loading and unloading activities, ensuring balanced load distribution.
Candidate Profile
Applicants must have a valid and clean Class 1 HGV license alongside a current CPC certification and tachograph card. Strong English communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor are essential due to customer interactions. Candidates should be confident drivers, reliable, safety-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
