Overview
Join us as a Motor Claims Consultant, where you'll play a crucial role assisting customers during challenging times such as vehicle accidents or unexpected incidents. Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial contact point for customers submitting motor insurance claims.
- Navigate customers through the entire claims journey from submission to resolution.
- Deliver exceptional service through phone, email, and digital platforms.
- Establish trust and clear communication by managing expectations and keeping customers updated.
- Collaborate effectively with repairers, suppliers, assessors, and internal teams to drive successful outcomes.
- Oversee a portfolio of motor claims balancing customer satisfaction with quality and efficiency.
- Make decisions within authorized limits and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain accurate claim data, associated costs, and payment processing.
- Identify and suggest improvements to enhance processes and customer experiences.
- Uphold risk management, compliance, and governance principles consistently in daily activities.
Requirements
- Background in a customer-oriented role such as retail, hospitality, contact centers, banking, insurance, or related service sectors.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse individuals.
- Empathy and resilience while supporting customers facing difficult situations.
- A proactive and solution-driven mindset.
- Competence in using various computer systems and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
