About the Role

The Charge Hand role is a permanent full-time position based in Palmerston North at the Malden St location, working night shifts from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure courier products, parcels, and mail are sorted accurately and meet established KPI standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Processing Team Leader to maintain smooth, efficient, and safe operations during shifts.
• Provide leadership and clear instructions to team members.
• Carry out daily warehouse tasks as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Capability to lift weights between 20-25 kilograms in a physically demanding environment.
• Possession of an F endorsed or OSH approved forklift license is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to manage and support a diverse team.
• Proven prior experience in supervising or managing staff.

Working Conditions & Compensation

• Hourly pay rate of $29.31 with an additional night rate of $3.29 per hour for work performed between 8 PM and 6 AM.
• Shift schedule runs Monday to Friday, from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
