Position Overview

Located in Wailea, HI, this full-time role at Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman involves preparing and maintaining the dining area for our guests, ensuring a welcoming and clean environment throughout their meal.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant sections for service by polishing and readying linens, silverware, and glassware.
• Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and personal approach.
• Support the service team by clearing dishes and glasses from tables and counters, transporting them to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Once guests finish dining, clear and clean tables promptly and reset them for incoming guests.
• Address guest requests and concerns proactively, ensuring a satisfactory experience.
• Maintain stocked service areas with necessary supplies including tableware and linens throughout service.
• Manage trash removal duties by emptying bins and replacing liners as needed.
• Uphold the highest cleanliness standards in all assigned tasks.
• Adhere strictly to attendance policies, demonstrating dependability and punctuality.

• Physical capabilities include frequent standing, walking, reaching, and lifting between 11-20 lbs; frequent use of hands, climbing stairs, bending, pushing or pulling weights from 10-25 lbs; occasional overhead reaching, squatting or kneeling, lifting or carrying 21-50 lbs and pushing or pulling 26-40 lbs.
