Azure Data Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Pyspark/Python technologies.
• Understand source-to-target mappings and create detailed specification documents based on designs.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.
• Collaborate effectively onsite, maintaining flexibility to operate from the client’s office location.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of IT experience specializing in Data Warehousing and ETL processes.
• Strong practical experience with cloud technologies on Azure including ADF, Synapse, Databricks, and programming skills in Pyspark or Python.
• Ability to interpret design documents and source-to-target mappings accurately to produce specification documentation.
• Immediate availability to join and work onsite five days a week from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

• Relevant certifications in Azure or related technologies.
• Experience within banking sectors focusing on Risk & Regulatory, Commercial banking, Credit Cards, or Retail domains.

Working Conditions and Schedule

This position requires working from the office in Chennai five days weekly during the shift timing of 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST. Immediate joiners are preferred.
