Role Overview

The Assistant Housing Manager supports the Housing Manager in managing daily operations of employee accommodations at Desert Rock resort. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, safety, comfort, and adherence to company standards and health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include supervising housing staff, managing room assignments, addressing concerns, coordinating maintenance and housekeeping, and assisting with housing administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily oversight and management of team member housing operations.
• Assist in upholding cleanliness, safety, comfort, and maintenance at resort accommodation facilities.
• Supervise Housing Coordinators, Attendants, and relevant housing staff.
• Manage accommodation allocation, reassignment, and occupancy tracking.
• Maintain accurate housing records, including room assignments and inventory.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance, cleanliness, safety, or facility issues.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and other departments to ensure prompt repairs and issue resolution.
• Monitor condition of common areas and team member facilities.
• Support implementation and enforcement of housing policies and standards.
• Address housing-related concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Communicate policies and updates effectively to residents.
• Assist with team member check-in and check-out processes.
• Monitor housing-related expenses, supplies, and operational needs alongside the Housing Manager.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and amenities.
• Prepare reports concerning occupancy, maintenance, and housing operations.
• Participate in regular housing audits and inspections ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Promote an inclusive, respectful, and positive living environment.
• Collaborate with Talent and Culture and other departments to solve accommodation issues.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction with housing services.
• Ensure confidentiality of employee information and housing records.
• Adhere to company policies and relevant legal regulations.
• Perform additional duties to maintain effective team member housing services.
