Role Summary

You'll join the Experience & Connectivity Team, working remotely, contributing to the design and maintenance of advanced platforms and services that engage both users and developers. This role involves developing infrastructure that ensures seamless interactions within a lively community. It is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance high-performance Android applications focused on risk management and identity verification.
• Integrate and fine-tune on-device AI models, including lightweight local face recognition and liveness detection systems.
• Create Android client libraries and frameworks to accelerate development processes and boost code quality.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to create hybrid frameworks and pipelines for on-device inference.
• Design and implement user action recognition workflows encompassing camera capture, on-device preprocessing, and backend API interactions.
• Manage video processing tasks on Android platforms, including real-time frame processing and camera stream control.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum three years’ experience developing Android applications from the ground up with strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to deploy and optimize lightweight AI/ML models locally on Android devices, particularly for face recognition, liveness detection, and action recognition.
• Expertise in Android video processing including camera capture, real-time frame handling, and video stream management.
• Experience developing computer vision-based products involving face detection, liveness verification, and anti-spoofing mechanisms.
• Advanced understanding of Android architectural design, Jetpack libraries, OkHttp, and associated technologies.
• Working knowledge of cross-platform development using JavaScript/TypeScript and React; familiarity with C++ and JNI is advantageous.
