About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Driver/Valeter to join the Stansted Depot of SIXT Van & Truck. This role involves maintaining our fleet of light commercial vehicles, ensuring they are clean, well-prepared, and safely transported to provide an outstanding customer experience. The position includes vehicle delivery and collection duties while acting as a brand ambassador for SIXT.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, clean, and valet all vehicles to maintain excellent standards for customers.
- Complete all handover paperwork accurately to facilitate smooth customer transactions.
- Manage and coordinate vehicle deliveries and collections between different depots timely.
- Inspect vehicles for damage at collection and return, document findings, and notify management.
- Confirm any vehicle damage directly with customers, securing necessary signatures and informing the depot manager.
- Assist with refueling vehicles to support efficient depot functionality while upholding SIXT's premium brand reputation through exceptional customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a valid driving license with at least 12 months of driving experience.
- Demonstrate adaptability by thriving in a fast-paced environment and working independently or collaboratively.
- Exhibit keen attention to detail, especially when completing paperwork and inspecting vehicles.
- Possess strong communication abilities for friendly and clear customer interactions, even during busy periods.
- Be flexible to work shifts on a rotation basis to cover branch operating hours effectively.
