About the Role

This permanent position is based at the Glasgow Service Centre (G32 8SL) and involves working Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:30 including a 30-minute break. The role is central to DHL's frontline operations, focusing on the delivery and collection of shipments. You will be expected to meet time-sensitive deadlines while maintaining a high standard of customer service and professionalism, reflecting DHL's brand values.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently complete deliveries and collections according to customer expectations and scheduled timelines.
• Serve as a professional representative of DHL, ensuring a consistently positive customer experience.
• Build and maintain strong customer relations, identifying opportunities to support DHL’s business objectives.
• Plan and prioritize daily routes, adapting promptly to any changes or operational requirements.
• Work effectively under pressure to uphold strict deadlines and service standards.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks, safely handle and transport shipments as per manual handling guidelines.
• Accurately document working and driving hours complying with relevant regulations and DHL policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous customer-facing or delivery experience, preferably with multi-drop routes.
• Competent in route planning and geographic navigation.
• Physical capability to meet the demands of the delivery role.
• Possession of a valid full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to obtain or hold a digital tachograph card as required for the role.
