Python Game Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Python Game Developer to create engaging games, simulations, or game development tools using Python. This position requires excellent Python programming skills alongside a focus on game-specific development, delivering robust and maintainable systems appreciated by both designers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain game features, design tools, and backend systems written in Python
• Create game logic, simulation modules, and artificial intelligence behaviors
• Build internal pipelines and utilities for designers and content teams
• Collaborate to integrate Python-built components with game engines, servers, or web platforms
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs throughout the game technology stack
• Participate in code reviews and promote sound engineering standards

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of three years developing production-level Python applications, preferably within games or simulation sectors
• Advanced Python expertise encompassing asynchronous programming, performance tuning, and packaging practices
• Experience using Python with game frameworks such as Pygame, Panda3D, or Ren'Py, or with major engines like Maya, Blender, or Unreal
• Knowledge of game backend systems, multiplayer features, or simulation engines is advantageous
• Proficiency with version control, unit testing, and continuous integration processes
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles
