Planner - Kildare

Responsibilities

• Plan projects utilizing tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta.
• Track and measure project progress and prepare progress reports.
• Coordinate scheduling efforts with site management, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Maintain and comprehend contract programmes related to the projects.
• Monitor subcontractor progress and develop key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Quantify materials from drawings to support reporting workflows.
• Support the integration of project schedules into Building Information Modeling (BIM) for 4D planning.
• Offer strategic advice focused on project safeguarding, growth, and development.
• Collaborate flexibly as part of a team, adjusting workload as necessary.

Requirements

• A relevant Degree or Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of planning work experience, ideally in building construction with main contractor background.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and lead times.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to adopt a multi-disciplinary approach to construction projects.
• Technical competence with drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), critical path programming, and network analysis.
• Capability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to effectively work within an integrated team.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Valid full driving licence.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and fluent spoken and written English.
