About the Internship

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to support supply chain management and logistics within Spencer's Retail Limited. The role involves overseeing replenishment planning for both Ambient FMCG & Staples categories and Fresh products including fruits, vegetables, dairy, chilled & frozen items, fish, and meat across all Nature's Basket stores. The intern will monitor inventory levels and freshness, coordinate with multiple stakeholders like vendors, distributors, and procurement teams to ensure timely supply, and track important metrics such as vendor fill rate and on-time-in-full (OTIF) service levels.

Responsibilities also include placing timely orders based on sales trends and promotions, managing inventory ageing to reduce waste, working with distribution and logistics teams to ensure smooth dispatches and deliveries, collaborating with category and store operations to resolve stock or quality issues, and preparing detailed daily management reports (MIS) on stock and sales performance.

Additional duties encompass processing returns to vendor (RTV) for damaged goods, supporting new store openings and festive demand forecasting, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling fresh produce, contributing to ongoing process improvements, and coordinating with quality teams for compliance and vendor evaluation.

Who Can Apply

This position is open only to candidates who can commit to a full-time, on-site internship lasting four months. Applicants should be available to start between September 4, 2026, and October 9, 2026, and possess relevant skills and a strong interest in the supply chain and logistics domain.

Additional Requirements

• Full-time availability is mandatory; part-time applicants will not be considered.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required to handle reporting and data analysis tasks effectively.
