Role Overview
We are seeking an Enablement Engineer to empower customers in maximizing their use of Crusoe Cloud. This full-time position is office-based in New Shwaib, Abu Dhabi Emirate. The role involves delivering training across all customer engagements, managing the enablement resources for onboarding new clients and staff, and serving as a technical liaison among customers, product development, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live training sessions, webinars, and workshops to educate customers on Crusoe Cloud's capabilities.
- Develop technical written content such as blogs, whitepapers, and guides focused on Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
- Produce instructional videos and demos showcasing platform features in detail.
- Represent the company at leading industry conferences like KubeCon as a speaker and technical expert.
- Create and maintain reference architectures and sandbox examples integrating Crusoe Cloud with CNCF tools via GitHub.
- Prepare Proof of Concept documentation and technical presentations to assist sales efforts and provide user feedback to influence product roadmap.
Qualifications and Skills
- Thorough knowledge of Kubernetes architecture including API servers, namespaces, RBAC, and multi-tenancy concepts.
- Experience with virtual machines and private cloud technologies, especially OpenStack or KubeVirt.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Helm alongside experience with major cloud services (AWS/EKS, Azure, GCP).
- Background in customer success, developer advocacy, or technical training targeting engineering audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to present webinars and conduct technical demos effectively.
- Strong communication skills to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences from executives to junior engineers.
- Capability to independently manage content schedules and technical labs within a startup environment.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Contributions to open-source projects such as Knative, Tekton, or OpenStack.
- Familiarity with DevContainer standards, CLI tool development, and developer workflows transitioning from local to cloud environments.
- Experience developing sales enablement materials or collaborating with Developer Relations and marketing teams.
- Previous roles at cloud infrastructure or platform companies like Mirantis, Platform9, or Datadog.
