Role Overview
Be part of shaping the digital future of our country by joining us as a DevOps Engineer responsible for developing, operating, and enhancing advanced private cloud platforms and their associated services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and optimize modern private cloud platforms and related services.
- Daily management and advancement of Kubernetes-based environments, focusing on automation and development.
- Ensure the stability, security, and high-performance operation of platforms and infrastructure components, embracing the DevOps philosophy of "You build it, you run it."
- Take ownership of productive service operations and participate in rotating on-call schedules.
- Automate deployment processes, operations, and infrastructure management using contemporary DevOps tools.
- Analyze technical requirements and collaboratively develop sustainable solutions with the team.
- Contribute to the introduction of new technologies and proactively suggest improvements for platforms, automation, and operations.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud, Kubernetes, and infrastructure.
- Document technical processes, operation concepts, and best practices essential for platform operations.
- Assist in continuously enhancing monitoring, observability, and security protocols.
Candidate Profile
- Completed degree, IT-related education, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least five years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Hands-on expertise in managing and administering Kubernetes environments.
- Strong command of Linux systems as part of daily routine.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Background in building and operating data center or cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in automation using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Git and modern DevOps and cloud-native tools.
- Sound knowledge of networking, storage, and server technologies.
- Independent, well-structured, and solution-driven working style.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Fluent in German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
