Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Maintenance Technician to join our UK Operations team based in Kingswinford. This role is hands-on and vital to maintaining the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment while actively contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and scheduled maintenance on production and operational equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system issues.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation in the management system.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, reliability, and equipment performance.
• Promptly respond to equipment failures and develop preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Provide support and training to team members on safe and proper machinery operation.
• Manage maintenance priorities in alignment with production schedules and operational targets.
• Promote a culture emphasizing safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems plus fundamental understanding of electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail with dedication to producing high-quality work.
• Customer-oriented approach with the capability to foster positive working relationships.
• Effective task prioritization skills in a fast-paced production environment.
• Availability to work overtime as necessary.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CNC milling and/or lathe machining.
• Background in manufacturing or production environments.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies or lean manufacturing principles.
