Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of all types of floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Safely handle chemical cleaning agents and operate power cleaning devices to avoid damaging floors and other surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, conference areas, hallways, and entrances.
• Dispose of trash appropriately, including using compactors for specific waste types.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass partitions utilizing suitable cleaning products and tools.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet shampooing and extraction.
• Restock paper and sanitary products as needed.
• Adhere strictly to set housekeeping schedules.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Carry out any additional tasks as assigned in line with client requirements or job scope.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial experience.
• Training will be provided during employment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to carefully follow instructions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles.
• Knowledge of custodial operations and commercial cleaning standards.
• Understanding of floor care including buffing and waxing techniques.
• Background in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous.

Work Schedule and Compensation

The position offers a rate of $12 per hour with weekly hours totaling 35, scheduled Monday through Sunday, from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
