Role Overview
We are currently seeking a committed and detail-focused Warehouse & Receiving Specialist to join our Saudi Arabia Valve Automation Center (VAC). The role includes responsibilities like receiving materials, inventory management, warehousing, material handling, kitting, and supporting shipping operations to guarantee inventory accuracy, availability of materials, and efficient support for both production and customer delivery.
This position is critical in maintaining operational effectiveness and enhancing customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate receipt and dispatch of products, thus supporting production schedules and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Accurately process receipt transactions within the ERP system.
- Manage inventory with precise material handling and traceability procedures to maintain accuracy.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Identify and report discrepancies in inventory as necessary.
- Organize and store stock in designated warehouse areas efficiently.
- Prepare and kit materials required for production orders and operations.
- Facilitate effective movement and storage of inventory items.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the warehouse as per company protocols.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts concerning warehouse procedures and inventory control.
- Assist with packaging and shipping operations to fulfill customer delivery schedules.
- Support international shipment processing and associated export documentation when needed.
- Collaborate with assembly and production teams to ensure smooth material availability and workflow.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in warehousing, receiving, inventory control, logistics, or material handling.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Basic proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational abilities, time management, and keen attention to detail.
- Capability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-moving industrial setting.
- Strong teamwork spirit and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to Valve Automation Center or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing industrial components such as valves, actuators, and controls.
- Skills in ERP-based inventory transactions and warehouse management systems.
- Knowledgeable in inventory stock control and cycle counting techniques.
- Experience supporting export documentation and international shipments.
