Warehouse Cleaner

Job Overview

Join Lidl GB as a Warehouse Cleaner in Doncaster, where you'll play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment. This position offers a competitive hourly wage between .45 and .65 per hour, 30-35 days of holiday on a pro rata basis, ongoing training, a 10% in-store discount, pension plan, and enhanced family leave benefits.

Responsibilities

• Keep all warehouse areas clean, including floors, fixtures and fittings, and promptly mop up any spillages.
• Remove and dispose of waste packaging from warehouse floors to prevent trip hazards.
• Stock and maintain the "clean as you go" stations with necessary items such as tissue rolls and hazard signs.
• Ensure all fire exits remain clear of any blockages and litter.
• Empty recycling stations and transport recycle materials to designated recycling areas.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely and confidently.
• Consistently uphold hygiene and health and safety standards throughout the warehouse.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness.
• Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Commitment to following the Corporate Code of Conduct and workplace principles.
• Adherence to internal guidelines and safety standards.
• Flexibility to perform a range of individual tasks excluding picking when necessary.
