Role Overview
The position is a full-time, on-site Warehouse Assistant based in Doha, Qatar. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and storing food products, packaging materials, and restaurant supplies adhering to company protocols. You will organize stock, pack and prepare orders for delivery to various restaurant outlets, assist with periodic inventory audits, and maintain accurate stock records. Operating basic warehouse machinery, ensuring cleanliness and safety of the facility, and coordinating with restaurant teams and supervisors to guarantee prompt and correct distribution of supplies are essential parts of the job.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in stock handling, packing, and fundamental inventory management aligned with daily warehouse functions.
- Competent in inventory control including tracking stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and following established procedures.
- Capability to safely operate forklift or similar material handling equipment; certification or training is an advantage.
- Customer service aptitude to liaise effectively with internal teams and support restaurant branches.
- Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or food service supply chain settings preferred.
- Basic arithmetic and computer literacy for accurate stock recording and inventory management.
- Attention to detail, dependability, and adherence to safety and sanitary regulations.
- Physically able to perform tasks involving lifting, moving items, and standing for long periods.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
