About the Role
Haemonetics is expanding its commercial presence in the US and enhancing supply chain capabilities to support growth. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement and control of materials and finished goods within manufacturing and distribution operations, maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory norms.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming materials by verifying quantities, lot numbers, expiry dates, and related documentation.
- Manage inventory transactions using Oracle ERP, including receipts, transfers, issuance, and finished goods movements.
- Facilitate production support by picking and issuing raw materials as per requisitions.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipment logistics, ensuring documentation accuracy and punctual delivery through carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and freight providers.
- Maintain precise inventory levels using cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures.
- Handle material transfers between warehouses, production facilities, sterilization partners, and distribution centers.
- Isolate and manage non-conforming materials within designated quarantine areas.
- Improve warehouse layout and optimize space utilization continuously.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards aligned with 5S principles and company safety protocols.
- Safely operate material handling machinery including forklifts and pallet trucks.
- Promptly report unsafe conditions, equipment failures, or operational concerns.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to boost efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehouse and shipping operations, preferably in regulated sectors like medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing both domestic and international shipping processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and dedication to maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Oracle is advantageous.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and perform effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality compliance.
- Possession of a forklift license is beneficial.
- Demonstrate teamwork coupled with a proactive, self-directed working style.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from €32,300 to €43,700 per year. The final offer will consider relevant experience, skills, education, and location. Additional incentives may apply including discretionary annual bonuses and long-term incentive plans depending on role and performance. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided.
