Utility Worker

Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated Utility Workers to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across various food service locations at Spokane International Airport under SSP America. These team members ensure a hygienic environment for both guests and co-workers by performing essential cleaning and maintenance tasks with attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests.
• Perform thorough cleaning of all restaurant surfaces, including floors, walls, ceilings, windows, equipment, and service areas to uphold sanitation standards.
• Dispose of waste properly and keep designated refuse areas tidy.
• Clear and reset tables between customers and transport service ware to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Scrape, wash dishes, pots, and pans by hand or using dishwashers, and organize them in storage.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment, which may include heavy machinery, to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Assist guests with specific requests and communicate any special requirements to supervisors or servers.
• Manage supply logistics by loading and unloading trucks, transferring items between storage and workspaces.
• Stock, label with dates, rotate, and monitor temperature of food products to ensure freshness and safety.
• Perform any other duties assigned to maintain smooth operations.
