Job description

Overview

We are seeking skilled Traffic Marshalls holding CPCS or NPORS certification to assist with various projects in Oxford. These roles offer options for both long-term and short-term engagements, providing flexibility to align with your availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide vehicles and heavy machinery safely along designated routes to maintain smooth traffic flow.
  • Utilize communication tools, including radios, signs, and hand signals to coordinate with drivers and equipment operators.
  • Continuously monitor the area for hazards such as obstacles, pedestrians, or unsafe situations and take appropriate measures.
  • Follow established traffic management plans and procedures to guarantee safety and operational efficiency.
  • Prioritize pedestrian safety by ensuring awareness of traffic and providing secure crossing points.
  • Support site security by maintaining a visible presence to deter unauthorized entries and address security issues.
  • Record relevant data, including traffic flow records and incident documentation.
  • Participate in safety-related activities such as toolbox talks and briefings to uphold site safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and other workers to sustain safety and efficient operations.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly to designated personnel.
