We are seeking a Site Waste Coordinator to support operations at a major refinery in Wagerup, Western Australia. To facilitate travel and site-related duties, the successful candidate will receive a company utility vehicle and fuel card.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly perform bin audits and site inspections at the refinery
- Ensure all waste bins and management practices comply with site policies and regulatory standards
- Act as the primary contact for waste-related inquiries and coordinate service requests with customers and site personnel
- Generate and manage work orders for bin replacements, removals, and additional waste services
- Prepare quotations for waste management offerings
- Monitor waste streams to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and enhanced sustainability outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation including records, reports, and service logs
- Collaborate closely with operations teams to guarantee uninterrupted service delivery
- Champion safety culture and ensure strict adherence to site procedures
Candidate Profile
- Experience in waste management, facilities management, site services, or operational coordination roles
- Exceptional customer service and stakeholder relationship skills
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities
- Proficient in coordinating work orders, service requests, or managing contractor activities
- Capability to work autonomously while balancing multiple priorities
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a proactive mindset for problem-solving
- Competent with Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Dedication to workplace safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship
Experience within industrial, mining, refinery, or heavy industry sectors will be advantageous.
